Annual Meeting

The 2006 Annual Homeowners Meeting will be held Wednesday, August 16th, at 7 PM in the Exercise Room. The Board suggests you bring a chair to sit on.

All Homeowners are encouraged to attend. If you cannot attend please fill out and return your proxy that you will receive in the mail.

July 2006 HOA board meeting

The board met this month as per usual. Several homeowners were present to discuss various issues. Of note we have decided to save money by upgrading our current sprinkler system rather than buying a new one.

June 2006 HOA board meeting

The board met this month to discuss a number of issues. Of note the budget has been prepared and approved for next year and we are pleased to announce a smaller than expected dues increase. The dues for the next financial year will only increase by 5% as opposed to some previous higher increases. With this increase we will be able to fund several projects to help improve our the Ambassador II condominiums.

Also of note is the upcoming BBQ and courtyard sale on July 15th. Feel free to drop by with some things to sell, or just come for the tasty eats! Be on the lookout for more information.

Common area flowers

Spring has arrived and our flowers are beginning to bloom. This is a reminder that the Ambassador II gardens are here for the enjoyment of the residents, but that there will be absolutely NO additions or removals of plants or flowers from Ambassador II grounds without express permission.

The MINIMUM fine for cutting or altering plants is $100, per 6.1 of the Rules and Regulations

April 2006 HOA board meeting

Of particular note the building is experiencing increased security problems. If you see a potential hazard please notify the board – if you see a law being broken or someone is in immediate danger please call the police right away.

March 2006 HOA board meeting

The Ambassador II Condominium Home Owners Association Board met on March 13th. The meeting minutes can be viewed by clicking here.

Please note: the board will tow cars parked improperly or parked in unregistered parking spots. The parking spaces near the elevator belong t o the commercial unit and may not be used for guest parking. Parking in the commercial units reserved spots will result in your car being towed at your expense.

Roof Repairs Completed

Associated Roofing has completed recovering the South side of the East building and has made repairs to the West building.

Roof Repairs Scheduled

The Association is replacing the roof on the South side of the East Building AND will make repairs to the West Building roof. Actual roof replacement will begin on Monday, March 13th, but our roofers plan to carry supplies to the roof sometime this week. The elevator may be a little slow for a while. 5th floor residents especially should be prepared for some noise and strong odors during the repairs.

Actual roof replacement dates are totally weather dependent. The roofers are not going to expose our structure to damage due to rain. Dates will change if the weather is bad.

The costs are covered by your homeowners fees. There will be no additional charge to homeowners.

Tree trimming complete

Tree pruning took place on Friday, March 3rd. We pruned the trees in the courtyard, along Summit Avenue, and Howell Street. The work was done by Davey Tree Service. As a result, our trees will be helathier, nicer looking, and hopefully more sun will filter through the trees and encourage growth of the foliage below.
