Homeowners Forum
● Two homeowners were present at the meeting this month.

Meeting was called to order at 6:41pm. The January 2014 minutes were approved as written.

Treasurer’s Report
For period ending January 31, 2014. Bank, Savings and Investment Accounts
Checking: $54,180.91
Washington Federal Replacement/Special Assessment Reserve CD: $293,193.79
Sound Credit Union Savings: $211,154.42
Petty Cash: $100.00
Total Assets: $558,629.12

● No committee reports.

Old Business
● Storage unit break-ins continue to be a problem. Please see the next item to help prevent these. Also, we suggest that everyone not store any valuables in the lockers.
● Please wait (ask your fellow residents to do the same) for the garage gate to close completely before proceeding to your parking space or away from the building. If you walk out the garage gate and not the pedestrian door, please wait for the garage gate to close completely before walking away from the building or proceeding to the elevator. All homeowners with tenants, please pass along this message to your tenants, as this affects them too. It takes a everyone to keep our property and personal safety secure.
● We renewed our earthquake and umbrella insurance policies. Remember that these policies do not cover residents belongings, fixtures, or furnishings. Individual policies should be purchased.
● We urge all residents to use their range hoods to try to contain cooking odors, especially during the colder months when windows are closed. We realize that these fans do not vent outside, but they do help some especially in those units with their kitchens close to the front door.
● We are working with our new locksmith to check every common door and make any repairs or adjustments as needed. We expect to be done by the end of this month.

New Business
● The dentist office reimbursed the Association for the repair of the Summit Ave pedestrian door interconnect so patients may gain entry into the garage.
● Noise complaints between two units have been filed with the Board. Complaints have been resolved between the parties.
● A tenant of one unit submitted a complaint to the Board regarding the harassment from another tenant. Situation is being resolved between unit owners and tenants.
● A homeowner submitted remodeling drawings to the Board for advice and approval.

Meeting adjourned: 6:55pm.
Next Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2014 at 6:30pm in Unit E108.
