Old Business
● Both Ambassador Boards (I & II) met for a joint meeting on March 19th. We discussed crime prevention recommendations from the SPD, garbage/recycling problems, and a few other items.
● A continued reminder, please wait for the garage gate to close completely before proceeding to your parking space or away from the building. If you walk out the garage door and not the pedestrian door, please also wait for it to close before walking away from the building.
● The Board has transferred funds from our reserve account at Washington Federal to the reserve account at Sound Credit Union. This transfer has been reflected in the April financials.
● Another reminder, please be aware that all of our walls, floors, and ceilings in the building are thin. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
● Although much improved over previous months, we continue to find garbage (kitchen scraps, bookcases, pizza boxes, Styrofoam etc.) in the recycling bins. Please be sure to only place recyclables (cardboard, paper, aluminum cans, tin cans, glass, etc.) in the recycle bins and trash in the trash bins. IF IN DOUBT, THROW IT OUT! If we lose the recycle bins, our garbage bill will rise significantly.
New Business
● A homeowner found a suspicious guy wandering the lower level of the Summit Ave garage. The police were called. Officers arrived in about 5 minutes. The guy was located and was known to the officers. The police looked at all cars and found no damage. This is a reminder to everyone, please contact the police if you find someone suspicious wandering in the garage.
● Next month the Board will be discussing next year’s projected budget.
● The Board is looking into creating a third account for our reserves before the end of the year.
Meeting adjourned: 7:25pm.
Next board meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 13, 2013 at 6:30pm in Unit E108
